Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 15+ years’ experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale capital projects
Main Objective of the Job
The Planning & Scheduling Manager is accountable for the development, integration, and governance of project schedules across the LATAM Major Projects portfolio. The role ensures schedules are realistic, risk-aware, and aligned with approved execution strategies to support effective delivery and decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all phases of project development and execution.
- Establish schedule baselines, progress measurement systems, and forecasting methodologies.
- Identify critical path drivers, schedule risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Support scenario planning, what-if analysis, and schedule optimisation.
- Provide schedule input to investment decisions, reviews, and assurance activities.
- Coordinate with cost, risk, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule integration.
- Monitor schedule performance and support corrective actions where required.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning tools, processes, and capability.
Experience / Skills
- Advanced planning and scheduling expertise across EPC/EPCM and owner environments
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and related planning tools
- Ability to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- English required; advance Spanish required
