Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">MUMI S.A.R.L is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydrometallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the Recruitment Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for planning and ensuring the recruitment meets the needs of the organization. He/she will be expected to use internal and external recruitment platforms to advertise job openings appropriately, while ensuring compliance with legal employment and data protection requirements, and prioritizing our IDEAL principles (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Promotion, Local)
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, marketing, or a similar field.
Required Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
- Understanding of labour law and employment regulations in the DRC.
- Proficient in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (e.g. LinkedIn, ATS etc....)
- Knowledge of SAP recruitment system would be an advantage

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. (French and English)

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Execute effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of candidates.
- Conduct in-depth job analysis to create accurate and compelling job descriptions, in both English and French.
- Search for candidates on online job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and indicators to analyze the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Conduct psychometric tests and skills tests for new and potential candidates.
- Proactively manage the progress of all roles/recruitment activities that have been assigned by highlighting deadlines/issues with the appropriate department head.
2. Candidate experience and integration
- Improve the candidate experience by communicating promptly throughout the recruitment process and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all candidates.
- Ensure timely and effective feedback for successful and unsuccessful applicants.
3. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Monitor and report on diversity indicators in order to improve recruitment strategy and improve processes.
4. Safety, Health and Environment
- Ensure that recruitment processes comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment throughout the recruitment process and communicate the organization's security policies to candidates.
- Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy
