Mutanda Mining (MUMI S.A.R.L) is a mining company whose registered office is at No. 4746, Avenue Laurent Désiré Kabila, Mutoshi District, Manika Commune, City of Kolwezi. Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
MUMI S.A.R.L is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydrometallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the General Manager -Supply Chain, the incumbent of this role will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the supply chain including, but not limited to, warehousing, imports, logistics, fuel and reagent management, and inventory management.
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or any other similar field.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience in supply chain management as well as managing projects under execution.
Required skills
- Organizational and planning skills,
- Mastery of the computer tool -MS package and ERP systems,
- Analyze and implement reports in all control areas
- Cleaning data in SAP to ensure data integrity,
- Intercultural communication,
- Proactivity and attention to detail,
- Fluency in French. Fluency in English is strongly preferred, and
- Strict maintenance of confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to reduce costs,
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate improvement activities related to obsolete inventory,
- Manage all aspects of inventory
- Manage stakeholder expectations in terms of stock availability and service level,
- Write and implement all inventory management policies and procedures,
- Ensure compliance with logistics and import regulations,
- Manage change in processes by training users and direct reports
- Establish objectively observable KPIs to track the department's performance
- Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy
