Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Under the direct supervision of the Training Coordinator , the incumbent will be responsible for facilitating training sessions on specific maintenance planning modules and providing on-the-job coaching to improve the skills of planners. They must be able to develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules in line with the 18 elements of Glencore 's Asset Management Framework .

 

He/She will have, among other things, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):


•    Planning training sessions . This includes presentations, tests and learning booklets, confirming training needs, defining training requirements, developing training programs and planning training sessions, and managing training events in the learning management system;
•    Manage the training environment. This includes preparing training rooms and computers needed for training sessions, as well as sending invitations to selected candidates;
•    Analyze training needs. This involves identifying and assessing employees' specific training needs;
•    Conduct training and assessments. This includes establishing prerequisites, conducting training sessions, establishing assessment methods, developing assessment tools, explaining the assessment process, organizing the assessment, making assessment decisions, recording assessment results in the TMS (Training Management System) and reporting the assessment to training applicants and the Training Management;
•    Provide monitoring and coaching in the field. This involves monitoring the candidates assessed and tracking their progress after training;
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of training. This involves evaluating the effectiveness of training programs , identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

 

Job requirements .
Qualifications and experience.

 

•    Hold a university degree in computer science, electromechanics, mechanical engineering or an equivalent field;
•    Have proven experience of 3 years or more in organizing training sessions and individual coaching on maintenance management systems;
•    Have experience in a mining, industrial or similar environment;
•    Have a working knowledge of maintenance management systems, in particular the SAP PM5 (Plant Maintenance) module; 
•    Hold a job seeker card (ONEM).


 

Technical skills.

 

•    Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in French and English, to interact with different interlocutors (teams, management, clients, suppliers).
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools (CMMS software, Gantt, etc.).
•    In-depth knowledge of preventive and corrective planning methods.
•    Understanding of maintenance-related key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Strong knowledge of project management.
•    Proven experience in designing and delivering training for adults.
