 Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Under the direct supervision of the Travel and Accommodation Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for managing travel and accommodation bookings for all KCC agents and contractors in accordance with international standards and in compliance with the procedure established by the company. He/she will also provide assistance in the organization of KCC (Dornier) international and domestic flights.
 

He/She will have, among other things, the following essential functions (non-exhaustive list):

 

•    Prepare flight manifests for travelers;
•    Organize passenger movements (KCC and MUMI) from the camp to the airport and vice versa;
•    Coordinate with Watu Wetu team to arrange appointments for required medical tests for passengers;
•    Work in collaboration with hotels to arrange accommodation for all agents on service missions;
•    Working with travel agencies for commercial flights;
•    Communicate continuously with passengers and advisors if necessary on flight schedules according to the instructions of the hierarchy;
•    Develop the traveler questionnaire to meet current requirements related to the change in flight schedules;
•    Book plane or hotel tickets as appropriate and needed;
•    Coordinate with AVEX aviation team to manage commercial flights to enable a good connection with Dornier ;
•    Ensure that all flight and accommodation requests are made directly through the system (FBS);
•    Work closely with the KCC Visa team to ensure the validity of travel documents before any confirmation on the manifest (Passport, Travel Visa, Flying Visa);
•    Provide services to ensure the safety of passengers on board the aircraft;
•    Trace lost, delayed or misplaced baggage for passengers;
•    Assist in the boarding or disembarkation of passengers requiring special assistance;
•    Converse with passengers to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations and required accommodations.

 

Job requirements


Qualifications and experience

•    Hold a university degree in Social Sciences, Literature, Human Sciences, Hospitality, Management or similar disciplines;
•    Have at least three (3) years of experience in a travel agency or in a similar field;
•    Have mastery of the French and English languages;
•    Be able to drive a light vehicle and have a valid driving license;
•    Hold a job seeker card (ONEM).

Technical skills

 

•    Proven expertise in labor legislation in the DRC;
•    Have mastery of IT tools and be able to work with online flight and accommodation reservation software;
•    Booking Systems (FBS) software ;
•    Have mastery of the computer tool
