He/she will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and updating topographic data necessary for mining operations, while ensuring the accuracy of surveys and compliance with mining plans. The position also involves the implementation of sites for drilling, extraction and management of the piles. The Surveyor will help ensure the efficiency and safety of mining operations through reliable topographic measurements and controls. In the absence of the Senior Surveyor, he/she may coordinate and monitor topographic survey activities on the site.
He/She will have, among others, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

- Install and control temporary topographic landmarks. Install Temporary Benchmarks (TBMs) to maintain a reliable control network for surveys and layouts. This includes establishing reference points, verifying their stability, and using them to ensure the accuracy of topographic measurements.
- Measure and monitor water levels in the pit. Measure and monitor water levels in catch basins and other pit drainage areas. This includes regularly collecting data, passing on information to the teams responsible for water management, and contributing to the prevention of risks related to water accumulations.
- Collect and process topographic data. Collect topographic data in the field using specialized equipment, then process and analyze it using technical software. This includes integrating data into IT systems, producing reports and providing reliable information for mine planning.
- Update the mine's topographic plans and models. Ensure regular updating of the mine's plans and topographic models based on the data collected. This includes using mining modeling software, verifying data consistency, and providing accurate plans for operations teams.
