Job description.
Under the direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Manager , the person responsible for this position will play a central role in analyzing, planning, organizing, directing and controlling recruitment processes in order to provide the company with qualified and competent staff. while respecting the instructions and procedures in force. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of recruitment best practices, cultural nuances and legal requirements.
He (she) will have, among others, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
- Ensure end-to-end recruitment processes in an efficient and engaging manner from drafting job offers to onboarding new employees
- Attract the best talent for our organization by demonstrating ingenuity, including headhunting.
- Implement employer branding activities and innovative sourcing strategies to attract the best talent in the market.
- Act as a true employer brand ambassador during various job fairs and all other relevant events.
- Ensure a positive and exceptional candidate experience and thus recruit not only reactively, but also proactively through Talent Pipelining.
- Ensure that the database of job candidates is updated and prospect job markets.
- Determine the choice of media to use for candidate research.
- Analyze requests from staff user departments against corresponding job descriptions and qualifications.
- Assist and advise personnel user departments in formulating their needs and interpreting recruitment standards and procedures.
- Establish and administer a mechanism for appropriate management of recruitment files, taking care to maintain a permanent reserve to meet the urgent needs of the services .
- Prepare and participate in interviews between candidates and user service representatives.
- Systematically inform user services of the status of clearance of their requisitions as well as the progress.
- Ensure the completion of recruitment formalities for selected candidates and the integration of new hires.
- Ensure the creation of administrative files for hired agents;
- Analyze and propose revisions to recruitment standards and procedures;
- Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and improve processes.
- Prepare periodic administrative and statistical reports.
Job Requirements.
Qualifications and experience.
- Hold a university degree in human resources management, psychology, social sciences, law or business administration.
- More than 7 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, mainly in the mining, industrial sector or within a prestigious company.
- Have a solid understanding of the labor legislation in force in the DRC
- Proven experience in international recruitment, ideally within a multinational company or headhunting firm.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Sourcing, Recruitment Marketing and HR databases.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
Technical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the full recruitment cycle and employer branding techniques.
- Knowledge of HRM process, job descriptions, skills and behavior based interviews
- Good mastery of candidate sourcing/research techniques.
- Initiative and creativity in recruitment techniques and strategies.
- Mastery of technological tools used in recruitment (Linkedin Recruiter, Success Factors, social media, etc.)
- Have a good command of the MS office computer tool (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
- People-oriented approach and a good understanding of the internal candidate and customer experience.
