Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
KCC SA exploits copper and cobalt ores on a large scale. It includes an underground mine, open-pit mines and integrated metallurgical facilities. The operation has one of the largest copper reserves in the world, with a current life of over 25 years.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for the consistent and reliable measurement and presentation of financial performance.
He/She will have, among other things, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
1. Financial reporting
- Identification and preparation of adjusting journal entries and the completion of reporting deliverables.
- Monthly reporting of financial and non-financial data into HFM and resolution of validation errors.
- Preparation of various account analyses and monthly schedules to support monthly reporting requirements.
- Quarterly and annual reporting into the GTC system (deferred tax, Payments to Government).
- Prepare accounts reconciliations and cross-review of work from other team members.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements, including both IFRS and OHADA.
- Assist with preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting. This includes completion of IPE control documentation..
- Integration and utilization of SAP and HFM systems for financial reporting and analysis.
- Streamlining of business reporting and ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
2. Other responsabilities :
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring staff are competent, adequately trained
- Assistance in the tax function, including tax reporting, tax audits and information requests from authorities.
