Job description.

 

Reporting directly to the Investigation & Administration Manager, the incumbent will oversee administrative, contractual, and logistical functions to support site security and loss prevention. They will ensure compliance with vendor agreements; manage protective equipment logistics; and coordinate reporting and documentation. They will also foster interdepartmental communication to enhance asset protection across mining operations.

 


He/She will have, among other things, the following essential functions (non-exhaustive):

 

•    Manage administrative processes supporting asset protection operations.
•    Oversee security-related contracts, including performance monitoring and compliance.
•    Coordinate the procurement, storage and distribution of safety equipment and materials.
•    Maintain records, reports, compliance documents and incident logs.
•    Act as a liaison between internal departments, external suppliers and regulatory bodies.
•    Support planning, budgeting and resource allocation activities.
•    Ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety and legal compliance.
•    Participate in audits, investigations and risk assessments.
•    Drive the continuous improvement of administrative systems and logistics processes.

 

Job requirements .


Qualifications and experience.

 

•    Hold a university degree in business administration, law, logistics or a related field.
•    Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in security contract management, performance monitoring, compliance, as well as in managing complex administrative processes related to security and logistics operations.
•    Have experience working in high-risk environments, ideally in mining or heavy industry. 
•    Fluent in French, English, Swahili and other local languages.

 

Technical skills.


•    Solid understanding of asset protection and security principles in the mining industry.
•    Experience in contract and supplier management.
•    Good knowledge of logistics, supply chain and procurement processes.
•    Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS), compliance and audit requirements.
•    Proficiency in MS Office suite and business systems (e.g. SAP or similar).
