It will be imperative to ensure that all operator assessments are conducted in accordance with the company's rules and guidelines, always maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
  • Provide hands-on and refresher training : This will include facilitating hands-on training that is aligned with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, machine health preventative maintenance routines, and mine-site-specific procedures. It will also provide refresher and upskilling courses for operators, technicians and apprentices, to continuously improve their skills.
  • Supervise and mentor junior trainers : This will include mentoring junior trainers, apprentices, and other employees in equipment operation and preventative maintenance practices. The role will be to ensure that all training provided, whether by the incumbent or by the trainers they supervise, reflects safe working practices, risk control and critical task protocols.
