Main Purpose of the Position
Under the administrative supervision of the Legal Director of Mutanda Mining and the functional supervision of the Regional Head of Grievance Management for Glencore Copper Africa, the Raising Concerns Lead is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing all activities related to investigations, reviews, and the handling of allegations of misconduct within Business-as-Usual operations, as well as under the Glencore Grievance Management Programme and local reporting mechanisms.
The position holder plays a key role in developing and managing an intelligence network, works closely with internal and external stakeholders, and supports MUMI management and the Regional Head of Grievance Management through analysis, key statistics, regular reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications

Relevant University degree (Bachelor’s level) in law, internal audit, information technology, or a similar field;
-
Active membership in the ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners), the IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors), or an equivalent professional body.
Required Experience
-
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in investigations, including the management of fraud, corruption, and ethical misconduct cases;

At least 5 years of proven management experience;
-
Demonstrated experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, ideally within the mining or industrial sector;
-
Strong experience in conducting sensitive investigations, evidence management, and drafting executive-level reports;
-
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and complex databases;
-
Experience working in Africa or in the DRC is highly desirable.
Required Skills
-
In-depth knowledge of DRC laws and regulations applicable to investigations;
-
Excellent understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes;
-
Strong data analysis skills, with an interest in artificial intelligence tools;
-
Proven ability to clearly and concisely link collected evidence to the allegations raised;
-
High level of professional skepticism and exceptional attention to detail, while maintaining a strategic perspective;
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; proficiency in Swahili and/or Lingala is an asset;

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and digital platforms;
-
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities;
-
Valid DRC driving license and availability for short-notice travel.
Key Responsibilities
-
Act as the focal point between the Grievance Management Unit, Human Resources, Asset Protection, the Legal Department, and other key stakeholders;
-
Collect, analyze, document, and securely store received intelligence information;
-
Maintain, develop, and strengthen internal and external intelligence networks;
-
Ensure proper collection, preservation, and management of evidence and seized items;
-
Conduct interviews with suspects, witnesses, and complainants, and draft complete and accurate statements;
-
Translate documents, audio records, and other evidentiary materials to support investigations;
-
Ensure strict compliance with MUMI internal procedures, Glencore policies, and national laws;
-
Draft field investigation reports and detailed executive reports in English;
-
Supervise the administrative and financial activities of the Grievance Management Unit;
-
Manage and control the budget of MUMI’s Grievance Management Unit;
-
Ensure weekly and periodic reporting to local, regional, and Group management;
-
Maintain and improve the Copper Africa CIIMS and Glencore CGR databases;
-
Train and develop internal resources involved in investigations and fraud prevention;
-
Support MUMI management and the Regional Head in monitoring and implementing corrective actions;
-
Comply with Glencore’s environmental management requirements and MUMI SARL’s environmental policy.
