Watu Wetu SAS, WW SAS in acronym, is a company under Congolese law operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the main activity of managing a medical service for businesses and A training center. WW SAS serves the companies Kamoto Copper Company SA and Mutanda Mining SARL which are its main shareholders.
The company covers the medical care of all employees of these two companies as well as their family members.
WW SAS comprises three facilities, namely Watu Wetu Clinic in Mumi, Watu Wetu City Site and Watu Wetu Hospital in KCC. With additional services provided by third-party healthcare facilities for employees and dependents located in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa, as well as those referred for specialized treatment not available in Kolwezi.
Watu Wetu SAS provides health services to a population of approximately 70,000 people.

Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Head of OH, Support Services Department and Governance Officer, the incumbent will be required to undertake a range of public health activities that protect and enhance the health and well-being of employees, dependents of Kamoto Copper Company (KCC), Mutanda Mining (MUMI) and Watu Wetu (WW).
He will have, among other things, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
- Provide health care for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
- Provide health care to children during Preschool Consultations (Integrated management of childhood and neonatal illnesses).
- Provide care for people living with HIV (Opportunistic Infections, Sexually Transmitted Infections, taking antiretroviral medication).
- Ensure the monitoring and control of communicable and parasitic diseases.
- Provide family planning care and management of side effects of different contraceptive methods
- Ensure screening and management of tuberculosis cases, including cases of HIV-tuberculosis comorbidities.
- Ensure the management of vaccine-preventable diseases.
- Coordinate health promotion programs, e.g., vaccinations, home visits, nutritional monitoring, etc.
- Train, develop, retain and motivate subordinates to improve their effectiveness and performance.
- Supervise Agents involved in public health work.
- Produce the Department's monthly data and reports on time.
- Coordinate Watu Wetu's health education activities.
- To carry out from time to time any other duties or responsibilities that may be required by the Hierarchy of Wat Wetu as well as any matters relating to public health.
- Carry out shifts at the Hospital according to the established monthly rotation.
- Flexibility to participate in monitoring meetings with the Health Zone and the Expanded Vaccination Program, meetings at the Provincial Health Division and/or with partners.
- Resilience with a view to participating in the various training courses organized by the Health Zone, the PEV, the PNLS as well as the other Specialized Programs of the Ministry of Public Health of the DRC.
- Availability to respond to certain unscheduled urgent calls
