Main Objectives of the Position
Reporting to the Entreprise Risk Management Superintendent, the Enterprise Risk Management Facilitator is responsible for coordinating risk management and assurance activities across the operation, including 1st line, 2nd line, and 3rd line assurance activities.
The role supports the implementation of the Risk Management System, SafeWork tools, and Fatal Hazard Protocol requirements. The Facilitator schedules and facilitates risk assessments, audits, and assurance activities, prepares risk reports, monitors action management, and supports continuous improvement in risk management and critical control effectiveness across the operation.
Minimum Qualification
- Relevant qualification or experience in Risk Management, Safety Management, Auditing, Engineering, Mining, or related field
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Good working knowledge of French is an advantage
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
Required Experience
- Experience in Risk Management Systems and Safety Management Systems
- Sound understanding of Glencore SafeWork compliance requirements
- Experience coordinating audits, assurance activities, or risk assessments
- Experience in report writing and data analysis
- Previous experience in auditing or assurance activities is advantageous
- Previous exposure to Fatal Hazard Protocols and critical control management is advantageous
- Experience facilitating workshops, risk assessments, or training sessions is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate audits and risk management practices with Risk and Control Owners
- Verify compliance with corporate requirements, regulations, and operational best practices
- Develop action plans in conjunction with line management and monitor implementation
- Compile and distribute risk and assurance reports and follow up on action plans
- Monitor close-out of actions from audits and assurance activities
- Identify key learnings from assurance activities and ensure communication across the operation
- Assist with the implementation of SafeWork tools and Fatal Hazard Protocol requirements
- Facilitate risk assessments, SafeWork workshops, and assurance activities with line management
- Coach line leaders and employees on SafeWork tools and risk management practices
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for management on risk performance and audit outcomes
- Promote continuous improvement in risk management plans and critical controls
- Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies aligned with MUMI objectives
- Comply with Glencore’s environmental procedures and MUMI SARL’s environmental policy.
