Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

KCC SA exploits copper and cobalt ores on a large scale. It includes an underground mine, open-pit mines and integrated metallurgical facilities. The operation has one of the largest copper reserves in the world, with a current life of over 25 years.

Job description.

 

 

Under the direct supervision of the dispatch team leader , the incumbent will have, among other things (non-exhaustive) responsibilities:

 

•    Safely drive a car or bus intended for the transport of personnel according to a well-defined daily transport operations schedule;
•    Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle;
•    Complete the logbook for each vehicle correctly;

•    Transporting passengers according to the destinations and routes planned;
•    Verify vehicle refueling with supporting documentation;
•    Respect the safety rules regarding mobile equipment;

•    To produce a circumstantial and weekly report;
•    Ensure that all passengers on board comply with road safety standards (wearing seat belts, etc.);
•    Report any breakdowns to the appropriate service and ensure that the car or bus is serviced/repaired;

•    Keep accurate records of fuel usage, mileage, and other data.


 
Requirements .


Qualifications and experience.

 

•    Have a state diploma, or equivalent;
•    Hold a valid driver's license;
•    Have at least 2 years of driving experience;

•    Fluency in French and Swahili is required; English would be an asset for the candidate;
•    To hold a job seeker's card (ONEM)

 

 

Technical skills.

 

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•    To be safety-oriented at work;
•    Perfect knowledge of the Highway Code;

•    Perfect knowledge of the geography of the city of Kolwezi;
•    Good organizational and time management skills.
