He/she will be responsible for controlling the quality of materials, developing new processing methods and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

He/She will have, among other things, the following essential functions (non-exhaustive list):

  • Supervise and optimize metallurgical operations . This involves continuously monitoring process parameters, such as temperature, acid concentration, reagent flow rate, to ensure the quality of final products and the energy efficiency of operations. It also includes setting up and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of equipment and processes.
  • Guarantee the quality of raw materials (sulfur, etc.) and finished products (acids) by implementing rigorous analysis and control methods . This involves defining technical specifications, taking samples and analyzing the results in the laboratory. It also includes managing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Track and optimize reagent consumption . Set up tools to track the consumption of these products. Also analyze the data to identify potential losses and optimize their use. This includes finding solutions to reduce costs without compromising product quality.
