Mutanda Mining (MUMI S.A.R.L) is a mining company whose registered office is at No. 4746, Avenue Laurent Désiré Kabila, Mutoshi District, Manika Commune, City of Kolwezi. Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

MUMI S.A.R.L is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydrometallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant.

Main Objectives of the Position

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the supply chain, including:

• Storage
• Import and logistics
• The fuel depot
• Inventory item management
• Reagent management

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a similar field.

Required Experience

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in supply chain as well as in the management of projects under execution.

• Demonstrate intercultural and written and spoken communication skills in French and English preferred.
• Demonstrate a good command of computer tools (MS office, ERP system).

• Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work consistently.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, management and team development skills.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency and define action plans based on results.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure the quality of products and services provided.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including political, environmental, and logistical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, while embedding sustainable practices within the supply chain.
• Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy.
