Mutanda Mining (MUMI S.A.R.L) is a mining company whose registered office is at No. 4746, Avenue Laurent Désiré Kabila, Mutoshi District, Manika Commune, City of Kolwezi. Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
MUMI S.A.R.L is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydrometallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the Communications Superintendent, the incumbent plays a key role in defining and implementing the digital strategy. He/she is responsible for managing, directly or indirectly, the digital communication channels serving both MUMI’s internal and external needs. He/she also oversees digital partnerships, monitors the overall performance of the various platforms, and ensures integrated and consistent communication.
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, Marketing, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in digital marketing/communication, product development and/or management, or a related field.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of communication.
- Experience in IT or digital communication systems would be an asset.
Required skills
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally.
- Excellent technical writing skills, including proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Creativity and a strong sense of innovation.
- Proven project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the digital strategy.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the various digital platforms.
- Coordinate digital platforms as well as the deployment of related tools and equipment.
- Administer and maintain digital platforms.
- Execute digital campaigns and coordinate content publication in line with the editorial calendar.
- Manage relationships with internal and external digital partners.
- Adapt and adjust content based on needs and feedback.
- Oversee social media management (community management) and web mastering.
- Review and validate content prior to publication.
- Conduct competitive and technological monitoring in the digital field.
- Ensure compliance with Glencore’s environmental management requirements and procedures, as well as MUMI SARL’s environmental policy.
