Its headquarters, center of its main activities, is located more or less 42km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo. "MUMI S.A.R.L" is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydro-metallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant. Main objectives of the position
Under the supervision of the Superintendent of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), the Process Plant and Engineering CMMS Engineer will be responsible for Asset Performance Indicators, reporting, cost calculation, repair history, maintenance strategy and the development of standard maintenance procedures associated with fixed installations and engineering.
Minimum qualification
- Engineering degree. (Civil, mechanical, electrical); Electromechanical Industrial Engineer, or particular expertise in this field.
Required Experience
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience supervising maintenance planning or maintenance supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) required.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with AMT software modules, tables and files.
- In-depth understanding of the MUMI spare parts/materials management process.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in French and English (an advantage).
- License to drive a light vehicle.
- Sociable, hard worker.
- Basic knowledge of mineral processing processes and associated equipment
- A good command of the notions of maintenance and reliability of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate the development of new maintenance planning processes and procedures for fixed installations and engineering.
- Responsible for the distribution of approved maintenance planning processes and procedures, defined by the AMT/MTN Planning Committee, to all fixed and engineering equipment users.
- Responsible for documenting approved changes to AMT/SAP system system codes, users, equipment, and security changes for audit purposes.
- Responsible for creating, modifying, or deleting approved system codes, users, devices, or security profiles for users after the manager's approval.
- Liaise with MUMI Finance for all AMT/SAP equipment additions, modifications, or deletions after review.
- Communicate all changes and interruptions to the AMT/SAP system to all relevant users.
- Lead the AMT/MTN planning committee on site. Meetings, agenda, etc.
- Responsible for programming and coordinating AMT/SAP training for new and existing users.
- Directly guide planning supervisors and senior planners. Responsible for setting objectives and monitoring activities.
- Interface with MUMI's IT department and AMT and SAP developer staff for all issues related to the AMT/SAP system and interface.
- Associate with the test all AMT/SAP system patches received for issues reported to system administrators.
- Develop/monitor AMT/SAP data audit reports to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
- Periodically verifies the integrity of AMT/SAP data for their respective area of work and reports to maintenance planning departments any anomalies or improvements that are needed.
- Lead the development and testing of ad-hoc reports from AMT, SAP ERP, Orb Fusion and COUPA for maintenance planning purposes.
- Promote an exemplary safety culture by integrating Glencore's requirements and MUMI's safety principles.
- Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy.
