Overarching Objective
Develop and deliver a commercially aligned, data-driven total rewards and mobility strategy that enhances business performance, employee value proposition, and global workforce effectiveness. This role ensures consistent, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits frameworks across international jurisdictions, while enabling talent mobility and fiscal discipline.
Key Accountabilities
Total Rewards Strategy & Delivery
- Design and maintain globally competitive, market-driven compensation structures across multiple geographies.
- Align short- and long-term incentive programs with business objectives and key performance indicators.
- Maintain consistent job architecture to support transparency, talent development, and internal equity.
- Partner with Finance to ensure cost-effective, auditable reward governance and budgeting.
Mobility & International Assignments
- Lead global mobility practices, including expatriate packages, relocations, and cross-border employment compliance.
- Partner with internal teams and external tax experts to manage international tax, social security, and shadow payroll.
- Mitigate permanent establishment risk and support compliance with immigration and double taxation regulations.
- Provide advisory support on contracts, policy, and strategic workforce planning across regions.
Regional Support & Customisation
- Serve as subject matter expert for compensation and benefits across Africa, the UK, and Latin America.
- Monitor regional legislation and adjust frameworks to remain compliant and locally competitive.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to tailor global policies for operational effectiveness and cultural relevance.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure alignment with global legal, tax, and equity obligations in all aspects of total rewards and mobility.
- Manage compensation reporting and analytics to inform executive decisions and compliance audits.
- Support continuous improvement, risk management, and regulatory readiness.

Your ability to navigate global tax and legal frameworks, coupled with strong stakeholder credibility and cultural agility, allows you to design policies that are both compliant and compelling. You thrive on structure, data, and governance—but you also know how to flex to local realities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits within a global or multinational organisation.
- Proven track record in designing and managing reward frameworks and benefits programs across multiple countries.
- Expertise in global mobility including expatriate compensation, relocation, tax equalization, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of international tax, social security, and cross-border employment regulations.
- Experience supporting operations in Africa, the UK, and Latin America.
- Proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, WTW, HAY) and HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
- Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a strong asset.
