Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
KCC SA exploits copper and cobalt ores on a large scale. It includes an underground mine, open-pit mines and integrated metallurgical facilities. The operation has one of the largest copper reserves in the world, with a current life of over 25 years.

Job description.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Planner , the incumbent will be responsible for the accurate and timely planning and scheduling of all project and maintenance related elements to ensure that all project and maintenance activities are executed in accordance with planned and scheduled resources and deadlines.
He/She will have, among other things, the following essential functions (non-exhaustive list):
- Plan and track maintenance . This includes creating and updating preventive and corrective maintenance plans, tracking work orders, monitoring labor hours and materials used, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure continuous improvement . This responsibility involves identifying and resolving maintenance problems, implementing corrective and preventive measures, and optimizing maintenance processes.
- Manage maintenance data. This involves managing and maintaining the maintenance database, including updating the spare parts list, monitoring key performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR), and generating maintenance reports.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders. This responsibility involves communicating effectively with production teams, maintenance technicians, process engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.
- Manage suppliers. This includes selecting, qualifying and managing suppliers of spare parts and maintenance services.
- Manage inventory. This responsibility involves managing spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of parts needed for maintenance operations.
- Analyze and report . This involves analyzing maintenance data to identify trends and issues, as well as generating performance reports for stakeholders.
- Manage maintenance projects. This responsibility involves planning and managing maintenance projects, such as equipment modernization and improvement projects.
